How about splitting the "bluesmobile how-tos" into that thread, and a new thread called "monaco maintenance" (or something like that). And the bluesmobile how-tos can be specific to working on a blumo (like dying panels, or installing a pushbar), and the new thread can be things like changing wiper blades or adjusting ride height.

I like this idea, though, I'd go with the name of "How-Tos" for the section and then have two subcategories: "Bluesmobile-Specific" and "Baseline Mopar" with a one sentence description of each.

Oooh, I like that. I see that Steam created "Monaco Maintenance" under the c-body section, and I can move some threads there to get it started. And then we jawbone about how/where to implement a "how-to" forum with subforums for blumo and baseline mopar.

How about a "Bluesmobile/ Car Wanted section?
Somewhere where someone could get specific about what they're looking for...and what their budget is.
..and possibly what other restrictions they may be encountering.
I've got a post/ thread to make; and I have no idea where to put it...

I've got a post/ thread to make; and I have no idea where to put it... I can see that. Maybe change "Cars for sale " to "Cars for sale / wanted", and then add a category "Bluesmobile wanted" that would cover someone looking to buy a blumo, or rent one for riding around, or appear in a parade, or to deliver blues singers to a concert. Just throwing out ideas; Steam is the category guy. your friend in having a place to put things, arthur

How about a "Bluesmobile/ Car Wanted section? That's a good suggestion, El. I knew there was one member (or two?) who started a Blumo wanted thread for himself and it took me a few minutes just to find it so we should have a visible thread, or sub category, errr sumpthin'. Back in a bit ...

There's a "Bluesmobiles Wanted" sub category now. Click on Bluesmobiles For Sale and it's at the top.

We have: Bluesmobile Parts - On Screen Details
How about adding: Bluesmobile Props - On Screen Details
and then we could put threads on the Lloyd's fan belt / wiper blades, Best of Sam & Dave 8-track.
I suppose even better would be: Bluesmobile Props
because we could have props that weren't ever shown in the movie. Like that map that TK826 was thinking of making.
-----------
How about bluesmobile info / production notes. We can put that Universal memo showing the list of blumo cars in there, and any other production info we get (like details on the blumo bullet car).

I suppose even better would be: Bluesmobile Props I swear I responded to this a week ago. I added that category, put the 8-track thread there, came back here and mentioned I had added it ... so where's my post? lol. Must have been into the pints that night. Does the 8-track thread belong in the props category? I suppose it would.

How about a subforum for "Dodge Monaco Police Livery / individual department setup", or something better worded.
We have: Details on 1974-1977 C-Body Monaco Details on 1974-1977 C-Body Monaco - Police
And my thoughts on those subforums are for differences in options between what civilian monacos got and what cop monacos got. And I think they've met that need.
I'm thinking of another area to ask about things like: - what is this unknown cop car paint scheme (the Rocklin County car that TK answered) - why do these 1974 CPD monacos have different paint schemes (in the diecast thread)
And I'm thinking it might make sense to use this single area to ask questions like "any departments use quarter panel mounted cop radio antennas". And then when it gets all sorted out, the info could be captured in the antenna thread (as an easy-to-read reference thread) in the standard Details on 1974-1977 C-Body Monaco - Police
