That was the great Blues Brothers Bike Race. These guys get a hold of me via my CarDomain account, or maybe through that he also found me on BBC, so he ask's how much to rent the car. I asked what for. These guys mostly go to Columbia College (film..?) and for fun are getting a race together that will take all the participants to film locations around the city. So I think it's cool and says I'll do it for a case of Old Style, and I threw in the gas! Ha!
It was a shock to all in the bike crowd when just before they left by the old allet to the church they see the bluesmobile pull a left upahead of them a block up, at first some were thinking, "look a Bluesmobile!" Then realizing it was the game plan. So Adam and Josh made the car a total suprise. My only involvement for Adam was to drive the car in front of the pack to McKormick place. A mile or 2 then I could go, I stuck around and proceeded to show up at movie locations as they went, it was alot of fun i must say, the guys on the bike had a bull horn and he's shouting tonight only and shit! Ha!
Best part, only a half mile down the way at 18th and Michigan we are at a light, the car and some 30 plus bikes, here come CPDGreg!! No shit, ON DUTY!! he's in a CPD car and stops opposite of me in on coming and says Whats going on John?! Ha! Funny shit

So then they get to McKormick place and start flying in front of my car to go in the doors, they have to carry their bike inside, down the hall to a desk to get the first punch in. Security there was freaking out! Noone told them.
I even got a card thing they had made up for the event I take a pic of it when I can.
So at the end they all met back up at Columbia college and this pic happened,
I wanna say on the ledft side the 2 guys wearing the hats w/ white stripes are Adam and Josh.
That morning I waited for Adam and Josh in a lot on canal, hear comes Josh w/ the 30 pack of Old Style (CANS ONLY!!!) per my request, not easy on a Bicycle.
It was fun and different, they were probably prepared to pay much more, but things like this have made the car fun. I'm not greedy. Thanks for bringing that up, not sure if I told that story on BBC, been to long.
