Funny thing is... I have 55 photos of this car and all of them, with the exception of two, look like the bottom photo.
The two odd photos are of the alternate door star version. The drivers side photo (shown above), and one of the passenger side.
Other indications that they are the same car:
I have photos showing both versions with the same bent pushbars, the same letters missing from the front of the hood, and both have the same "number 10" decal, on the front bumper.
I believe the top photo was taken earlier than the bottom photo. I'm 99% positive that the car arrived at Universal, in the condition shown in the top photo, and judging by the door star, it was originally purchased from Rick Shields. The back and forth spray paint, over the star, is pretty much a give-away that it was done by Shields as I believe every car sold by him has the same spray job.
I believe Universal repainted the car sometime between 2007 and 2008. That is also about the time it lost its drivers mirror and spotlight.
* The car has since gotten another modification. Now there are two eye bolts drilled and mounted to the top front of the hood, to hold the roof speaker tie-downs.
The car with the "In memory of..." door star, is one that we have seen before.
It is a Gran Fury.
There is one more photo of it floating around the web (that I can't seem to find right now). It is a vacation type photo, showing the car in front of a hotel, with a blonde girl standing in front of it.
