Loaded at Cabot Ark heading south. Antique plates available are J JAKE; JOLIET; SCMODS; HIT IT; HITBOX. Since Fury is ELWOOD, I like the first two. Also, since Rick has a nice Bluetooth setup in it, the project is BLUE-TOO. More to follow.  |

So I lose my job in 2008 and needed something stressful to do. I tell my wife I am going to race in NHRA's Hemi Shootouts (stressful to the 27th power). "I don't really want you to do that, sounds dangerous, so you must build a new safe car for that." Classic Briar Rabbit story. Pretty sure she figured out that cost and life is good. Now this Blues Brothers GIG and she saw these cars today. "Have you lost your mind?" Thought I was going to get whipped by the Penguin.   |

Ok I think if I just put a small spacer under the Fury blinkers they will look fine. Width perfect just a little shorter. Only you guys and the "hairdresser" will know. AND I will have some 74 blinker stuff to sell. Also we have a running 318/tranny/driveshaft,rear end with springs, brakes etc etc. $1000?  ? fair? 70669 area code   |

Dont forget that sweet chrome rear diff cover. Man I bent that using a floor jack. No problem, we are putting the 9.25 3:23 posi with 7 layer cop leaf springs. We will use your backing plates, brakes and lines as all brand new. All we have to do to the front is slide in the HD torsion bars from the K car. All shocks and brake stuff is brand new all the way around as advertised. Interior is very nice. Have a small patch to do on the rot box. Phish |

Man what a day! It took 6 hours and a 100, 120 and a rough 140 to get to the promise land in the speedometer world. So far the K car doner has provided a rear seat base modified for the Penguin, speedo cable, front and rear HD suspension with 3.23 pos, exhaust parts, quick ratio steering, steel crank 440 for overhaul (one head, 4 groove pulley and water pump housing were toast) with a 727 tranny (being overhauled), heater blower, 3 core radiator, blinker cam and an assortment of bolts and clips. Still a lot of good parts on K doner if someone needs something. Will keep pedaling tomorrow. Phish   |
