- I can't find a thread for the Blues Bar specifically, it's been mentioned here many times, though. So there's been some problems leading to the closure of the bar and the Blumo on display inside has been removed. I read it was sold but don't know anything more about that. ^ That's a member pic from a few years ago. And here's a recent pic ... Pic is from a Mount Prospect facebook page and they have a video of the Blumo being lifted out from the building ... - www.facebook.com/exmp60056

Someone call Ernies Wrecker Service or the Ragos and make a real offer. I'm sure they are being pestered to death with $500-$1000 offers. Throw $4k down and I bet you buy it.

This is a real CHP car. I remember seeing it on eBay.
Too bad the place is closing. I was there in 2009. The next year, for some reason, they didn't participate in the 30th anniversary celebration of the movie, and the window was covered so the car couldn't be seen from outside. (?)

From the FB post that was shared to my feed= by Steam, I'm guessing. : Does that mean it's an actual movie car? The wording of that post certainly implies it.

I read this thread and was wondering "How did he know which towing service had the car?" I was looking so closely at the Monaco trying to see clues of what it actually is I totally missed the HUGE print on the boom until the second time I went back to this thread.

Does that mean it's an actual movie car? The wording of that post certainly implies it. It was advertised on eBay as CHP, but there was nothing about it being a movie car, and I don't think the Blues Bar ever claimed it was.

I just noticed it has the same Setina push bars as my Crown Vic, odd looking on a Monaco.

- The new place is officially opened, in January I think. "Bar 145°" which represents the temperature of a medium rare burger so they say. Last look at the Blumo in the window ... - bar145mountprospect.com/Anyone got any info about the Monaco?

Here is the response I got from Lenny:
I replied that I was not interested personally since I had my own project, but directed him to this board.

- Well all-righty then. Thanks for that info, LA! I was looking for this car at some old BBC threads, 2FAB mentioned he saw it on daBay but I couldn't find a pic of this one. Was this a Laguna Matt car? Handle might have been "KCODE" back then?
