I found something I hadn't seen before. A third title of "Global Moderator." I have no idea if it gives you and TK extra abilities so please let me know if it makes a difference. I have a feeling it's just a title and nothing will change but what the hell ya never know. Hi Steam: That did the trick - I see the new feature to delete a topic, and I was able to remove those 'moved'-advertising threads. This looks like a good page that describes the 3 levels www.proboards.com/forum-help-guide/create-forum-member-groups> Global Moderator authority is structured for members that will be > moderating all posts, in all boards on the forum. However, unlike > Administrators, they don't have the authority to change forum > settings or forum design elements. So I'm all set for now, thanks!

Suggestion...
"Diecast Stuff" be changed the broader title of "Monaco toy models" (or something similar).
Maybe even with sub-sections titled: -Diecast -Resin -Plastic

Agreed I was thinking how about a thread for each of the (popular) die-cast and model Blumo's and Monaco's and started doing that. Is it looking too busy? The GreenLight thread could even be split up a bit. While moving threads around and stuff some of them defaulted to me as starting the thread. So, some of you have lost the status of starting that thread ... suckers lol. They're mine I tell you MINE. dang - Livery stuff coming, Arthur.

Two things: 1) Facebook page...do we have one? Do we want one? Maybe a Group page? Not wanting to make extra work for anyone, but sometimes FB is handy and faster than logging into the forum...it has some neat instant notification features, and tools for the smartphone users out there. Of course, I'm not sure what we would talk about on there...we do most of our yakking here. 2) Bluesmobile Video forum section. A place to post links to Youtube, Vimeo, Hulu, etc. videos and streams that feature only Blumos...it makes it a lot easier to be able to come here to a dedicated thread to find these, than to be crawling over Google all night for cool Blumo action. You admin guys can tell me to go to hell if these have already been discussed, or are just out-and-out lame ideas. Rob

1) Facebook page...do we have one? No we don't. I'm not on Facebook, I don't think our mods are either.? I did create a facebook page for the sole purpose of trying to contact Jerram Swartz who was an individual who may, or may not, have been a part of overseeing the Bluesmobiles from the movie. I left it open for a couple of months, never heard from the guy, so put it to sleep. 2) Bluesmobile Video forum section. That we do have bluesmobiles.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=sightings&action=display&thread=138You admin guys can tell me to go to hell Go to hell And I look forward to burning for all eternity right there with you. I'm thinking casual attire should be good. The warm beer will just be something we'll have to get used to.

1) Facebook page...I'm not sure what we would talk about on there...we do most of our yakking here. I think Steam summed up my opinion quite well. I think trying to put some info on facebook and some on this site would lead to fracturing of info. I like the well categorized areas of our current board setup. > sometimes FB is handy and faster than logging into the forum This site is the #1 window always running on my computer. So you can't get any quicker access than that. > it has some neat instant notification features, I don't know what more could be provided than clicking "new topics" and seeing all the threads that have been unread since last visit. > and tools for the smartphone users out there. It sounds that you're interested in things that make access easier for smartphone users. And it sounds good to make life easier for smartphone users, but I don't know anything about that as I don't have a smartphone. Have you tried the "proboards" smartphone app? Would that meet your needs equally well as us creating a facebook page?
Maybe someday I'll get hip to this newage facebook and smart phone stuff. For now, I'm happy with this site and accessing it from a desktop computer. My only peeve about using this web-site from my desktop computer is when someone posts a ginormous pixel size picture in a post, which horizontally expands web-page with a scroll bar at the bottom which makes it hard to read text, because every post is now resized. I'm presuming that viewing the page on a smartphone would not have that problem (because I think the pics are automatically sized and can get enlarged with finger touches).

Archaic cavemen...that's what I'm dealing with, here. ;D Just funnin', of course.....I understand completely, fellas. Steam, I didn't see that video post before....that works perfectly, so ignore my rambling on that. Facebook...yeah, it would be a 'fracturing of data' to split the board with a FB page, plus a lot of work for you guys. I do have the Proboard app, and it works pretty well, actually. I'm a member of the Blumo pages on there, ti...and yes, they are quite low-traffic pages....that's why I brought it up here as a suggestion; I figured we could do a better job! Thanks for indulging me, fellas. Rob

Actually a FB group/fan page for all 74-78 c-bodies could be a good idea. Or not, I've thought about it before.

[regarding 78 c-body] ^I thought that Chryslers would be welcome to that also. I didn't think of that. I've just been immersing myself in monaco / furyness, and don't have any 78 catalogs.
