- Regarding the soda blasting, this is from the episode the first time I ever saw it or even heard about it. This show has changed format a bit now, it was "American Restoration" back when I was watching it, then I think it became "Rick's Restorations" and now I believe it's American Restoration again but spread out among 5 different restoration shops and not just Rick's. So a different cast of characters, I haven't seen any of the Season 7 episodes but I remember watching this one of them using the soda blasting on these fiberglass Pep Boys ...

Here's a shot of the drivers door panel, the hanging plastic disc was glued over the round hole cut in the panel, I have no idea what it's purpose could have been. Gotta love that paint job. All kidding aside, if I found this car around the corner in the condition it'll be after stripping, dash all frigged up, crappy paint on everything and it cost the same as what I'll have invested after paying for the car, shipping, and blasting I don't think I would even hesitate to buy it. And as of now it's still a good investment even as a parts car.

One thing I'm noticing around all of the devastation is that Whitey doesn't have a clock, gauges, or the blank in the dash, there is no hole there, I don't think I've seen that before. Another oddity for a civilian Monaco is there are no fender mount turn signal indicators. Whitey is a "High" price class car, I would think these would be standard items.
