That car is on another website as well. I never bothered posting it because the disclaimer... "not ready for sale" has been on there for at least two months now.

This is the website I was referring to: www.iaai.com/Vehicles/VehicleDetails.aspx?auctionID=0&itemID=12446961&RowNumber=1I believe this is the place where the car actually resides (if it in fact still exists). It has been on there not two months... but four. (Since March 13th) To bid, the website/ company requires that you register and then fax them some type of paperwork. * And... They do not allow public bidders on all of their auctions. This one is listed as... .

From my short amount of research, it looks like IAAI requires a 200 dollar registration fee, and both CarFrom and CrashesCars require a 1,000 dollar deposit with the company just to bid. Seems like kind of a scam in my opinion. Maybe for someone that owns a junkyard and wants to continually add to their yard these are good sites, but it doesn't seem like it's set up for the average person wanting to get a parts car or restoration project...

anybody catch what this car sold for today? I think it's still going. Looks like there was one pre-bid of $350, pre-bid was closed and the auction started at 11:00 this morning, central time. Other than that I don't see any evidence of there being a single bid so far. Unless I have to register to see the bids? Which I did not do. www.iaai.com/Vehicles/VehicleDetails.aspx?auctionID=0&itemID=12446961&RowNumber=1

it looks like IAAI requires a 200 dollar registration fee, Yep, but you can register for a guest account for free and listen to the auction. I've got the auctioneer going in my headphones right now, lol. They're at #3076 and the Monaco is #3111. They move along pretty quick. Should have a result shortly ...

If it does sell it would be interesting to see how much and if we could find out where it goes to. If it ends up in a yard in California I might have to look into it...

Sold for $900, the bidding was fast. It ended and the auctioneer said, "How about that?" lol. I didn't catch where it went to but might be able to get that info later.
