I've fixed quite a few for members on the board; it's a fun hobby for me.

If I do get that one, as in the past, it'll be up for sale to a member for what I have invested in it.

The 8-Track portion will work, but it needs a new belt. Otherwise, the pick-up, ejector, and track changer all function. The only drawback is the ends on the volume stalk that holds the knob on is broken.

Thanks. I'd normally offer it to members here, but I paid more for it than I have in the past from a guy out west and, when I found out that the knob was broken, I couldn't bring it up to the standards that I hold the ones I offer here to. It needs to go up $25.00 in bidding for me to break even.

Ok; it's time to share a little secret. I've got a few guys at salvage yards who look out for me every time a car comes in or they go to swap meets; think of them like pickers. That's how I keep finding 8-Track players. Obviously, I have to pay them for their time to make it worth it, but it seems to benefit everyone involved.

That said, I just got a text about another 608 that I'll post more on after I get back from vacation.

Two watchers and the current and only bidder is an obvious Blues Brothers fan. I don't expect it to go for all that much; probably only $50.00 at the most.

I just acquired a NIB Craig S606; I know it's not screen-accurate, but in my interpretation of the Bluesmobile, this will become my 8-Track player of choice; mounted in lieu of the factory stereo.



As a result, I have for sale, exclusively on this board, a NIB Craig S608. I paid an arm and a leg for it and, if anyone's interested, feel free to contact me about it. I don't intend to profit from it, but I don't imagine most would want to pay what I did for it.
