If you need advice on freeing up the stuck buttons, I'd be glad to help with that. The stalk with the broken connector, however, would require a spare player for parts. I may be able to help there, too.
I was bidding on the S606 that was on eBay, but that one is going too high for what I want to do with it.

Thanks, Lord...I appreciate that.  Like a lot of folks here, I've been waiting on the elusive cheapo 602, but it hasn't happened yet.  I saw this one, and figured "what the hell, it's pretty close", so I bid on it and won (I'm sure the condition had a lot to do with it). Either way, I plan on having a modern head unit in the glove box to run the tunes, so I'll just snazz this one up a bit to look a little more movie canon....I'll cut the dash, stick in a repo S&D 8-track, plug it in the dash hole, and let 'er rip! ;D Rob |

I just acquired this little gem; a 601 that needs some aesthetic work. I have no idea if it works or not, but if there's any interest in purchasing this one or, instead, my NIB 608 I'd be willing to sell one off.  |
