Nice-ish S606. Price is right. $59 Looks like it went down to $48 during that auction, 1 offer no sale. Re-listed, the Buy It Now is $58 USD. It's in Nova Scotia, Canada. - www.ebay.com/itm/Craig-S606-Car-8-Track-Player-Craig-V590-Amplifier/323872408646No mention if it comes with the Tammy Wynette 8-track Stand By Your Man is not on this album. George and Tammy were already divorced when this Greatest Hits album was released but from what I've read they remained friends ... or maybe that was just a show so they could keep selling 8-tracks and albums, lol. Like this one ...

I am new here oh, I love the blues mobiles we never see them at the car shows in my area but we do have a Back to the Future car here. I have a 67 Pontiac Firebird 400 and I bought a Craig w330 with non-adjustable shafts that I cannot use it does not fit my Dash. The shafts are too narrow. I paid 115 and a ridiculous $35 shipping.it is new in the box. I really wanted a power-play anyway. Isn't it crazy to find the most definitive information on vintage Craig 8-track in-dash units would be found on the Bluesmobile forms haha. I will post of some pictures and offer it up here first when I figure out how to post pictures. Darreaux@aol.com

Craig s631 $50 Sold. Seller let it go for the high bid of $32 (8 bids). ----- I will post of some pictures and offer it up here first Welcome, thanks for the offer of first bids on your Craig. There's a very distinct 'money shot' of the 8-track in the Bluesmobile, this is the pic that's led the fans towards Craig and in particular an S601 and a strong resemblance to an S608 ... Although as you've seen in this now lengthy thread, lol, there are plenty of Craig 'close enough' choices out there because the S601 is becoming scarcer and now fetching over $600 on daBay . For pics, you can attach up to 3 per post and I believe the limit per pic is 1MB.

The only difference I can see is that the front is silver rather than black plastic. Yes indeed, the S603 actually made up the trilogy of players that were considered excellent candidates for a Blumo. 601, 603, 608. Another reason why the 603 has been shunned as "screen accurate" is because of the difference in the sequence of screws and holes where the knobs connect to the metal plate. That was briefly discussed here, page 3 of this 8-track thread from Jan. 2012, legendaryacura8 got the ball rolling ... sigmfsk replied ... And also the left hand push-button says "EJECT" on the 601 but it's the AM/FM selector on the 603A ... And yeah $400 beans is quite the ambitious starting bid, maybe the seller saw that S601 last year go for $610 !! Still, the S603A for sale in this auction is an absolute beauty.

A bit of a stretch, but it looks like the S631 might also be screen accurate. I always wondered if they just used what ever Craig 8-tracks they could find, considering how few S601's we see. Maybe the Sam & Dave shot being an S601 was just coincidence? Attachments:
