The 3146 appears to be much thicker than the one in the Bluesmobile but since its only for appearance the face could be removed and screwed to any radio body and look mostly correct with part of a Sam and Dave 8 track case sticking out of it.

Just got this one on a best offer of $20.00 The radio showed up today, it's really rough but will work for my needs, if I was buying it for more than the face to use on an old cassette player I'd be SUPER pissed. It's amazing how people still misrepresent shit on ebay to screw people out of $20. |

You can see here how the chassis of the Craig 3146 is much thicker than the standard cassette player (which if you look at the Bluesmobiles 8 track it's also thin like the cheapy cassette player I have)soooo, my plan is to put the face of the 8 track on this cassette players chassis and hopefully get an 8 track from TK, cut it down so it fits in my fake player, wire the center light to power so it looks like this thing is on, and build a dummy radio delete face to cover the modern CD player in the stock radio location.  |

I put a low offer in on the three, the 601 is rough but it is the correct model and could be dolled up some for display purposes.
