Back in like 2010, a local radio station here in Arkansas called "The Point 94.1" did a giveaway/promotion to raise money for a charity. A couple DJ's dressed as The Blues Brothers and drove around in a Blumo. The winner of the giveaway won their Monaco (crazy huh). A local guy won it and it sat in front of his pizza restaurant for a couple yrs..Then he went out of business and the car vanished..Of course the owner isn't on FB and is almost invisible. I'm trying to locate the car and was wondering if anyone remembers it or has seen it? The radio station is also helping me locate it also..They are gonna dig up the VIN. Anyways, it's kinda an odd story and it's a cool car with a lot of AR history (been in commercials, concerts, and events with the radio station).

- For sure I remember this one, we had a pretty big thread for it at the old Blues Central. Thread is gone now but you posted a pic here I don't remember ever seeing before ... So I definitely do not have any additional info on this Blumo. Last I remember is that the pizza guy said he would use it for deliveries once in awhile. I seem to recall the folks who put it together were hanging around Blues Central trying to buy a Blumo from a member (or two). Country Bunker might have been one of the members who was contacted although I'm not sure, it's been a few years. I might be thinking of something else entirely lol. I also have a feeling that they were asking us for advice along the way during the build so I'm 100% certain I have pics of the build and at some point in time during this year I will find them. It was a huge thread, lots of pics. I remember I even joined the 94.1 mailing list and would get updates from The Point long after the contest was over. I'd say it remains to this day the coolest contest ever haha, and I was pissed off that I couldn't enter because I'm a Hoser. Actually, I think it was open to Arkansas residents only ... ? I wasn't the only member who couldn't enter, hopefully you can track it down.

Going tomorrow to check it out. He said it hasn't ran in a long time and has been under a car cover for a few yrs. Here's hoping it hasn't rusted from being parked. I'm gonna get pics and report back after I see it. Keeping my fingers crossed.

- An update from Carter's Mopar Garage. The Blumo is sharing the garage at the moment with a sweet looking '69 Coronet, also in the video.
