Brakes completely rebuilt, as was the 727 (complete with shift kit, to sustain more than a little abuse). Attachments:

HIGHWAY PATROL is still visible on the deck lid. It's gonna be tough to paint over this... Attachments:

Corporate Blue might be my new favorite color. The left manifold is from an HP B-body and will require custom exhaust, but the girl has to breathe right?!? I contemplated headers for about 60 seconds but sanity prevailed...

HIGHWAY PATROL is still visible on the deck lid. It's gonna be tough to paint over this... I don't think I would.

Floor pans - this was a big hold up. Interior, fuel lines, brake lines all on hold until this got sorted out...

Great car! Its coming along good! I would restore this thing back to CHP specs if it were mine. Congrats on the purchase of your dream car.
I am glad to things went well with Laguna Matt, did you get a free color, cut and perm with your purchase? Lol.
Laguna Matt actually has a very good reputation on the police car restoration side not so much on the Blumo side of the fence. Did he know you were going to Blumo it? What did he think about that?

Yes, Laguna Matt knew I was going to Blumo the car. I'm afraid I don't get the cut color & perm reference though...

The donor floor pans didn't quite match up so we had to cut 'em down a bit.

The floors turned out so good I almost didn't want to put carpet over them! Thanks to Murray Park for helping me locate the gold loop.

Attachment DeletedAttachment DeletedHow many perps have been relegated to this seat over the years of her service?! The car arrived to me with 3 black belts and one tan. I just went with it. Upholstery is NOS from 1975, the closest I could find at that time.
