It's been nearly a year since my Monaco arrived in Detroit from Southern California. In the days since, we've completed a full restoration on the interior, drivetrain and mechanicals. The paint is original and untouched from its days on the force. Pics to come...

Outstanding Steam! They played the Pontiac Silverdome Dec 1981 on that tour. My dad was there, I was not (8 years old). Old enough to know what he was doing and not happy I wasn't along for the ride. Have seen them about 25 times since, starting with Steel Wheels in '89 up until June 2013 at the United Center. The World's Greatest Rock N Roll Band!

I'm getting an error message that reads "this forum has exceeded its attachment space limit". I can't upload any pics, even though I've shrunk the file sizes to 200 KB and less. Any help is greatly appreciated - sorry to be the greenhorn over here...

Me too, you need to use Tinypic and attach pics that way.

- I'll check our settings when I have a bit more time to poke around, sometime on the weekend. In the meantime if anyone just wants to e-mail me a few pics I'll put them in the Bluesmobiles photobucket album and post them. I'll pm you my e-mail address, carlito, if you want to do it that way for now.

- I notice attachments at C-Body DryDock are through "postimage" ... postimage.org/I just saved a pic of a Monaco from the IMCDb to see if it will attach here the normal way ... ... annnddddd no it didn't. Small pic, too! Let's try postimage ... ok just figured out that the pics at DryDock aren't actually attachments lol. PostImage is just a pic host ... I'll try and free up some attachment room.

Really nice, are you going to restore it or Bluesmobile it? (I'm for restoring).

Laguna Matt, indeed...all went pretty well. He actually had to lien sale the State of California to get clear title. He gave me all the documentation...pretty cool that the CHP was the last owner of the car. It's gonna be a Bluesmobile for sure - it's always been my dream to own one. I'm gonna try and post more pics on my own - thanks for the help Steam!
