On the subject of magnets, if you ever need some REALLY strong magnets for something like this, get them from an old computer hard drive! They're the "rare earth" type of magnet that you WILL break a fingernail with when trying to remove it from a flat surface! I have an old project truck that I occasionally have to store outdoors and was getting tired of trying to make the plastic drop cloth stay put with ordinary magnets or bungee cords... Not any more!

Ebay. Dozens of sellers carrying rare earth magnets in all shapes and sizes. I like the aspirin sized ones, tiny little things that are just stupid strong.
