- Ad doesn't actually mention CHP specifically but I figured I'd put it in the thread title anyway It's gotta be CHP, manual steering is the biggest tell that it is. Plus notice the extra bumper bolts to fill the pushbat holes, it has the ivory wheel, gray interior. I'm bidding on this one.

^ Geez you weren't that far off. I figured it would go higher than $5,000, but considering the amount of restoration needed I suppose that's a good price.

A '69 440 Polara CHP is certainly in the top-5 most desirable vintage police cars to restore. But I'd make one change - power steering. A big block C-barge has to be punishing without it.

I'll bet we'll see this one again, the high bidder had 6 feedbacks, 6 feedback buyers usually don't pay for $8,000 cars. The next highest bidder was $2500 and change.
