Here's an individual issue, January 1983 (not from Matt) Buy It Now $22.99 Is that a 1974 Dodge Monaco 4-door sedan stealing the show? Good eye, Steam. And in the spirit of patronizing non-Matt businesses, I did buy-it-now. Get ready for a bumper super-scan! I think it may be a 74 monaco - with a 1974 1/2 prototype jump bumper!

Is that a 1974 Dodge Monaco 4-door sedan stealing the show? Well, I got the magazine, and the pic above is a good representation of the detail available on the front cover. So no super-zoom ins for 1974 1/2 prototype jump bumper. But here's the blurb describing the scene: It looks like CHP officer Bryan Duquesnel is/was on the force a long time. Here are some 2003/2004 articles with him mentioned: www.mindspring.com/~eehiv/storch/d14313.htmwww.uniondemocrat.com/News/Local-News/CHP-seeks-teens-alcohol-supplierI don't know if he has any stories on 1974 1/2 prototype jump bumpers, but I bet he has a lot of good stories. your friend in first responder appreciation, arthur

your friend in first responder appreciation, Absolutely. Carnage on the roads, they see things we never, ever want to see and I salute them. ----- The CHP mag had some fairly graphic stuff. Buy It Now $24.74 www.ebay.com/itm/The-California-Highway-Patrolman-Magazine-1969-March-Vol-33-1-CHP-CAHP-Graphic-/281147200916There is indeed a graphic example at the link which I didn't post. Body on the highway stuff. Drunk driving has sure stood the test of time. With the pics, the CHP provenance, all the old ads, these magazines are actually pretty amazing.
