Hello all, just found this forum and am a big fan of both Blues Brothers, Police pkg cars and Monaco's specifically; so I thought I might join up.
A little relevant back ground. I've owned two Police package Monaco's, the first was a '74 ex-Washington state patrol car with the original 440 that I turned into a BB clone; which I later sold. (Still regret that one) and the second was a rusted out hulk of a '75 that I paid too much money for and was (thankfully) able to sell to someone else. These days I'm driving a '93 Caprice ex-county car and have an old rust-free '75 Buick Regal that I'm in the market to sell/trade to the right person.
I also have, thanks to Greenlight, an ever expanding collection of Monaco patrol car replicas (Including the old Ertl BB Monaco and some Johnny lighting cars).
So that's that. I look forward to reading what you all have to say and hope that I can occasionally contribute something of value, thanks. #nosignature#

Hey, rd! How ya doin'? Thanks for joining us here, we're nice people but we make a lot of racket at night. Do you have a pic of the '74 Blumo you owned? If it's ever been posted on the internets then chances are very good we've seen it. Did the '75 also become a Blumo? Ok, chat with ya later.

cynot, Steam McQueen, thank you for the welcome. Steam, I do have some pics of my old BB Monaco somewhere in storage, but I've first got to find them and scan them (They're Polaroids). So perhaps when I can get some free time I can post some up. The '75 was rusted out junk, not worthy of a refit or rebuild.
