What does that mean?

There's different things they do to try and cheat sometimes. Usually involves welding, I think. Like welding steel into the trunk or welding the frame and body together. It's definitely frowned upon so maybe that's an inside joke comment, or he plans to derby it in some local non-sanctioned event where anything goes? Wrecking this Royal would be a shame but that's the way she go, I guess. It is after all posted at a derby site. Here's a vid about some type of welding cheats. I think Mr. Mer has derbied in the past, he probably knows more about this stuff. -

I have raced stock cars , demo derbies and a thing called bump n run . But have never put crazy amounts of time as these guys do into cheating a frame . Have ran maybe 5 derbies and did the usual stuff everybody did back then , but now with these big old boats being scarce you might see them run 3 before there useless . Bump n run was a usual race but you had to hit the car you where going to pass . Was a lot of fun and I fully apologize for wrecking my share of impalas , fury's and our beloved monacos . Only if I kept those interior parts , trim and glass . I would weld the bumpers to the frame , all cross members and take the rubber frame mounts out and bolt the body to the frame with plates if needed . I would take the bucket of a front end loader and pinch the body behind the rear window , so when you keep getting slammed in the rear it would go up and not drag . Wasn't a pro but did win quite a few . There was a lot of cheap old iron back then . This pic had my 74 caprice with a 400 small block out of a 71 cop belair and my buddies 65 SS impala 327 . That car was mint before this . Attachments:

I contacted the guy with this car about buying the dash and other interior parts; hopefully SOME of this car can be saved.
