Looks good. I've been traveling a bunch, but let me know when you are ready to take a look at my old hulk to see if you can use anything. Thank you! Looking forward to seeing you in a few weeks! Hopefully we will have time to check out you car real quick! I'd love to see the beast!! There is a shit-ton of work and talent in these photos. Thank you my man! Theres deff a ton of work there! Idk if i'd go so far with the talent though!! lol Just a hickabilly in his garage with a welder! A wee bit more progress. Patched the small holes in the rocker, finished stripping it, then a coat of primer. Passenger side is done! Now on to the driver side. Drivers floor pan is waxed!!! Cut this big piece out, but sliced my speedo cable in the process. Got pretty pissed, so called it a day... Hey bartender!

I didn't know if I should put this on your build thread or mine! Lol! Country asked if I had a decent left rear dog leg, lower quarter and rocker off of old Mona that I would be willing to part with to help save his car. Well I hope I am helping because my parts are far from fantastic but at the same time way better than what Country has been dealing with. And before anyone freaks out, the unfortunate reality is that old Mona is too far gone to save, she is now an organ donar to help keep other Monacos on the road. The sawzall and plasma cutter handled the job easily, only started a couple small fires! Here is Mona prepped for surgery. Making some incisions [/a] Hopefully this is enough to work with. I had a hard time deciding where to stop cutting!

That floor board turned out great. It seems like you are getting closer. After the left rear quarter and dog leg, what's next?
That left rear is wasted, I'm glad I cut off such a big piece, looks like you will be able to use a bunch of it.
FYI, I turned a few wrenches on mine this week too!

After the metal work, I'm on to cleaning, and recoating the underside. Then installing the new components on the rear. Once shes back on her feet, I've got a little metal work to do on the top side. I've still got a bunch of parts to chase down for her.

I've still got a bunch of parts to chase down for her. Maybe you should persue the Myrtle Beach HOB car as a parts car!

- Hell of a pic here, Zac. She'll be happy to have that gone! The door in the background is a good visual.

I've still got a bunch of parts to chase down for her. Maybe you should persue the Myrtle Beach HOB car as a parts car! As nice as it would be, I don't need too many monaco specific stuff. Mostly new stuff that I need to order. I'm planning on converting the a/v over to a sanden unit, and some new suspension parts, ect, ect... I thougt you were trying to pick that car up my man?? Its like deja vu a year later. Got most of the bad cut out... That back corner of the trunk pcoket walls are a pain in the ass! There are 3 pieces of metal overlapping there, and they are all rusted.

I thougt you were trying to pick that car up my man?? I was kidding when I said that to you but I was clean out my garage the the day looking around and thought "I really need to get rid of some shit" and if I sell a couple I would buy one more but with winter coming I really don't have the room. I'm still thinking about it though.
