A 74-77 c-body Monaco uses a Moog K778 upper ball joint.

That ehow page also says:
> It is also the upper ball Joint used in the 1992 to 1995 Dodge Viper.
This page says 92-96 Viper:
www.autopartswarehouse.com/shop_parts/ball_joint/dodge/viper.html
And these pages say 92-08 Viper:

By -08, I think they mean -10 because suspension didn't change in 09 or 10, so basically we have 1992-2010, all the years.
Man, c-body's rock! The ball joints are still being used on the top-of-the-line Dodge sports car 34 years later!

I learned that the larger sleeve #91034816
shown on this page
www.speedwaymotors.com/Steel-Ball-Joint-Sleeves-1960-89-Chrysler-Type,2126.html
Fits the K778 ball joint.
That could come in handy for fabricating upper control arms.
-----
"monoball" vs. a Ball joint. Race teams use them to adjust the roll-center of the car - by adjusting the length of the "ball joint" "stud".
I spoke with Howe Racing, and they have their own way of doing adjustments - by making Ball joints (with their own patent) that have longer studs. For the Monaco Ball joints, I can get them stock, or 0.5" longer. The guy at Howe said that if I had more popular Ball joints, I could get them up to 1" longer. So that may help in getting a good geometry.
-----------
Looking for possibilities for upper control arms that would accept a ball joint that would mate with the stock Monaco knuckle, I found these SPC control arms

SPC sells parts for make-your-own control arms:

Regarding ball Joints, they don't make a plate for the Monaco K778, they only have:
> Chrysler Screw In ball joint Plate - SPC Performance offers ball joint plates that
> are welded flat (0°- SPC part #92003) or at an angle (10°- SPC part #92002) for
> these screw in type ball Joints.
They don't even say what Chrysler ball Joints they are, but after enough reading and talking with folks, if it's a Chrysler upper screw-in, and they don't specify, they're talking about a K772.
Howe can put any ball joint stud into any ball joint housing, as long as the ball sizes match:
www.howeracing.com/p-7583-precision-ball-joint-housings.aspx
The K778 has a 1 5/8" ball, while the K772 has a 1 7/16" ball. So that isn't of any help.
But here's where it gets interesting:
Howe has a ball joint housing the size of a K772 that takes a K778 1 5/8" stud:
> COMPACT XD BIG CHRYSLER
> The compact ball joint combines the small XD housing of Chrysler upper with a
> large Chrysler Lower stud.
www.howeracing.com/p-7812-extreme-duty-precision-ball-joints.aspx
> small XD housing of Chrysler upper
means
> K772 size ball joint housing
> large Chrysler Lower stud
means
> a stud with a 1 5/8" ball, which is typically used for a lower ball joint, and for this
> housing the only intended use was a large Chrysler Lower stud, but a 1974 Monaco
> upper ball joint K778 1 5/8" ball stud can also be used, which would be uber cool
> in a bluesmobile replica.
So to use the stock Monaco knuckle with an SPC upper control arm, one can:
- get the SPC upper control arm plate that will accept a K772 ball joint
- get the Howe Compact XD Big Chrysler ball joint that fits a K778 stud into a K772 form factor
- which mates with the stock K778 knuckle
