Hello,
I have a challenge on heater blower. It started to "fade away". It only worked on full speed. Lower speeds it was dead. I thought that the motor was worn out and I changed that. Worked ok for two days and then "died" again. I think it is related to electrics. Any experiences on similar issues?

I think this is the broken component. At least looked bit burned?

As I could not find suitable replacement relay (suggestions?) - I thought maybe to "jump wire" only the fastest speed to get it working? Any experience / advices before the sparks starts to fly? Relay is possible, there is also a blower motor resistor screwed into the front of the heater box under the dash, if your fan only works on high, that's your guy. Try and clean up your connectors on the switch and resistor, dielectric grease afterward is good.

Great - thanks. I was not able to find out how the relay is working - tried with volt meter (got several reads in different switch combinations up to battery voltage). I'll have to study that more and also the blower motor resistor too. Is it accessible underneath or do I need to dismantle the dash? Thank you in advance for advices.

I can't remember, my Monaco's been disassembled for 3 years now. I know its on the passenger side. I think you can see it if you lay on the floor. It's flat with 2 screws and 3 wires if I remember right.

If memory serves me correct have to drop the lower dash to get to the blower resistor. You might be able to get to it by removing the glove box door? It’s only a few screws either way.
