Hello!
I am taking a shot in the dark as I am looking to buy a specific Monaco my grandfather had.
The car I am looking for is a 2 door 77'. It was purchased new in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. When my grandparents moved to Nova Scotia that year, the car went with them. When my grandfather passed away in the early 90s, the car was sold to someone in Nova Scotia, Canada. I believe it was to someone in the Halifax/Dartmouth area.
The last time I seen the car was approximately in 1998 in Halifax. Funny enough, I was waiting for a bus, and it drove past me. (HAHA) I know to this day, that car i had seen (in 98) was my grandfathers. As it had a unique feature that was not factory at the time. My grandfather had installed a rear break light in the very early 90s/late 80s. He had done this as he thought it would make it safer when it became standard on newer cars.
The car originally, had a maroon exterior. With a black vinyl interior.
If anyone has a remote guess as to where it might be located to this day, or point me in the direction of other sites, etc. where I could branch out my search, it would be very much appreciated if I could be notified.
Thank you for your time. Luke H. lhickson (at) gmail (dot) com

This might be a long shot - but I've seen a maroon 2dr Royal Monaco on kijiji mid-year 2021. It was for sale for a few weeks, I remember it was on the road, not a "barn find" or project, so even if it's a slim chance, it might have come from out East to Alberta. It wasn't cheap, but I can't recall the details, i.e. interior colour etc. I'm not sure if this is of any help, but that's the only maroon 2dr Monaco I've ever seen for sale.

I'm guessing you might have already thought of this, but I'm sure if you could find the VIN number, it would go a long way.
