Steam has made a permanent home for all lovers of Bluesmobiles and has filled the niche nicely!! As I said from day one, it's a beautiful thing! IT WILL be THE place to go for all things Bluesmobiles in the years to come. Awesome work Sean!
On another note, BBC is not dead nor anywhere near finished. Hell yeah it's disheartening to see it a different but again it's being tweaked inside out. Lighten up lol..!
"...Because it takes a lot of work to develop a custom forum skin, the Soul Food Cafe is currently using the default IP.Board theme. We're working on making the forum look more like the old vBulletin board, but this may take a few weeks to complete." - Chris

I was e-mailing mbmopar recently about his Monaco Special emblem, and I think he missed that much of the bluesmobile action is on this site, as he just posted on BBC about his awesome door star decal set here: www.bluesbrotherscentral.com/forum/topic/9992-mount-prospect-door-decals/page__view__findpost__p__121616I added this response: ------------------ Hi Derek: While BBC was down for a few months, we created a new site - just for bluesmobile specific stuff: bluesmobiles.proboards.comHere's the parts buying/selling forum: bluesmobiles.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=partsthat would be good to post your info. And to be clear, the new site is just for the bluesmobile. BBC is still the place to go for all things movie related other than the bluesmobile. BBC mod Bluebood writes about the new site here: bluesmobiles.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=gotopost&board=general&thread=295&post=1943> Steam has made a permanent home for all lovers of Bluesmobiles and has > filled the niche nicely!! As I said from day one, it's a beautiful thing! IT WILL > be THE place to go for all things Bluesmobiles in the years to come. > Awesome work Sean! All, mbmopar's set is top notch. I bought a set and was stunningly happily with it. The best! -------------------- So hopefully that's a nice way to let him know that he'll get more eyeballs on his product by posting here, letting other BBC bluesmobile-interested readers know about this site (by them not seeing many bluesmobile posts, and reading all the new ones wondering why, and then finding a link here), and without upsetting any of the BBC staff. I offered to Chris that we specifically link to each others site, us referencing BBC as the place to go for all things blues brothers other than the bluesmobile, and BBC referencing our site as all things bluesmobile, but didn't hear anything back. That was back before BBC came back up; maybe he'll be open to something like that in the future. your friend in happy coexisting boards, arthur

I decided to take a look at my profile to see what was there and noticed the birthday info I had hidden was showing again. I always had my age on display (48) but wanted my birthdate hidden so I didn't have to respond to all the silly "happy birthday" stuff. But there it was, month, day and year. So I removed that. No big deal, just fyi.

Happy Birthday (maybe), Steam!!! LOL, not yet (49 before the end of the year, though). That's not specifically what I was looking for. I was just curious to see what was there. Friends, link info etc.. Looks like the 'profile views' had been reset as well. Other than that just the same old stuff. My occupation is still listed as "Pizza and Beer Inspector." ;D

Hi Elwood. I'm not following. That link takes me to a page showing all the forums on BBC. Can you explain what you mean by: > bring back the board "over there" or provide a link to a thread or item that details the effort? your friend in keeping up with the news, arthur

Ahh, thanks for the link. It looks like the thread was created right after BBC came back online after it was down for several months. Good for them working to keep a vibrant community. It's good to have a place to go that has people chatting about fun topics, with a board admin that's on the ball and keeps the site going, with information that is easy to find.
