I'm jealous of that. I wonder what it looks like underneath, in the trunk, and in the engine bay being a northern car.

Not that it matters much but the speedometer has been changed, notice the large zeros, it only goes to 100, and the red 10ths number on the odometer. I have a mint gold interior in my parts car which is supposed to go in Whitey, god I wish I had some extra cash.

I like how the roof has no top on it. Getting the glue off is really a chore. If the car is solid underneath, I'd say at $4500, this is a great value. This one is so nice looking, if I were to buy her, I'd consider just leaving it stock.

I'd really love to get this car and baby it the way I do my truck, but I just don't have the funds at the moment, between jobs. I really hope someone here goes for it because I want to see this one around!

Pff, a no-brainer if it was a bit closer...

Agreed, that one needs to stay stock and original. Maybe a set of factory road wheels with a bit beefier tire, and that's it.

Too tempting. I called about it, no answer but I left a voicemail.

...the speedometer has been changed, notice the large zeros, it only goes to 100, and the red 10ths number on the odometer. I wonder what's up with that? The ad says 83,000 miles on the car, which matches the speedo, but the red 1/10ths means it was a replacement, right? And it's not a 1974 Monaco speedo. So how many miles were on the car before the original speedo was replaced by this one? Like Hemi said, not that it matters much, but it does seem odd having that speedo in there.

Not unusual, the wagon I have listed is the same way. Seen this several times before. The speedo unit would fail and if the dealer didn't have the correct one they installed the 76-77 after 75. That's info from my buddy in Indiana that worked at Chrysler/Plymouth/Dodge dealer from 72-92.

I would make it a detective or chiefs car. These cars scream cop car! Never met a Monaco I wouldn't modify to my liking. That's just me. I love cop cars. And 74 Dodge Monacos look best as cop cars. Again just my two cents!
