- I was looking for the CEVS dates and saw this display in Naperville, which doesn't mention CEVS at all. It's not a parade ...

Display to Include More Than 50 Vehicles Being Done in Conjunction with National Night Out
The City of Naperville is excited to partner once again with the Downtown Naperville Alliance to bring more than 50 emergency vehicles, including new and vintage police cars and fire engines, S.W.A.T. tactical units and modern emergency equipment to downtown Naperville
So a Blumo could be in the vintage police car category
From all the years of posting Monaco's and Fury's, I've seen the name Naperville many times, might be more Monaco's hiding around there for sale if anyone goes lol.

- I was looking at that quote ...
... in Conjunction with National Night Out
And I was thinking, what is that? I figured it must be an American thing only and that's why I didn't know what it was but no, it's in Canada too. It seems like a noble cause and has been around since 1984 !! Maybe It just hasn't made it to our city yet ... I guess I don't know lol, I didn't really know it was a thing ...
The event has been held annually since 1984, and it is sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch in the United States and Canada. National Night Out began simply with neighbors turning on their porch lights and sitting in front of their homes. The first National Night Out that involved 2.5 million residents across 400 communities in 23 states; National Night Out 2016 involved 38 million residents in 16,000 communities across the United States.
A national community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
The actual Night Out is always the first Tuesday in August. Apparently big block parties, festivals, parades and stuff ...
The first time I ever saw the name was back on the old Blues Central site. I immediately associated it with Charles Napier, lol. Then after a year of posting cars there I was thinking, man, there's a lot of great cars for sale in Naperville. And as you know they've had the CEVS Parade there, I'm not sure how many times.
This is a 3 day event! As mentioned, in association with National Night Out ...
