Stumbled on this site while looking for a cop car to buy. Looking for a 69-79 Dodge or Plymouth, Roscoe or Walking Tall type look. Prefer real cop car but reality may require a clone. Don't have mechanical skills so would rather have a finished product. If you have a seller please connect us. I started in a 77 and 78 royal monoaco so I lean that way if possible.

- Hey Rodd, welcome . Mostly what we post here are Dodge or Plymouth so maybe you'll see a car here that you didn't spot elsewhere. And we also post Crown Vic's mostly '88-'91 as that was the Bluesmobile in the 2nd movie. We definitely post the Rosco style B-bodies if it's a police package, not so much with the civilian '77-'78 Fury or Monaco. There was a Walking Tall clone posted here for awhile, I'm not sure if it ever sold. Where is it now ... ahh ok it's in the movie car section ... bluesmobiles.proboards.com/thread/94/1972-polara-walking-tall-cloneThanks for joining us and check in when you can.

That's not a really good clone Steam, it's a hardtop with cornering lamps, very non-police. Wait until the right car turns up, there are a lot of them out there. If you are on facebook there are also vintage police car groups and those guys, as we do do here, keep track of what's for sale out there except they are a lot more critical of correct police cars and clones. Good luck!

That's not a really good clone Steam, I agree with that for sure. I just checked the classified ad for that one and apparently with one offer the car was sold. I thought we had 2 Walking Tall clones posted here, one was a sedan, but I must have seen that somewhere else. I don't know now if the sedan was ever for sale, I think this is it here ... Was that one for sale through a facebook group at one time? It's beautiful, more pics ... - flickrhivemind.net/Tags/1972dodgepolara/Interesting

- Polara in action. This first clip ... what do ya suppose causes the explosion? The director I guess, lol, so strange to see a car just experience an explosion for no real reason other than it was going off the road. Poor ol' Dodge ... And this one, with Buford's help, decided to make the Lucky Spot club a drive-thru ... Apparently, according to the 'goofs' section at the IMDb, when Buford is on the highway driving to the Lucky Spot the roof lights are red but when he slams the club they're blue. That clip above doesn't show red lights that I can see but it picks up just as Buford is very close to the club so maybe in the previous shots that we don't see it does indeed have red roof lights. Does anyone own this movie and could confirm that? ----- Rodd is gonna be like, "Umm, this was my thread, y'know."
