I'm one of those people who ended up owning far too many cars than I could ever work with. With that being said, for the last couple years I've been reducing my 'collection' so that I can focus on the cars that are more important to me. I had to make the difficult decision to crush a 72 AMC Ambassador and a 79 Magnum GT because nobody wanted them. I don't want the same fate to hit this Newport. I purchased the car from the family of the original owner in the 2000's. It needed the gas tank cleaned from sitting. I removed the tank, had it cleaned and lined, but never re-installed it. I have heard the car run with a direct feed to the carb and I didn't hear anything the worried me right off the bat. However, I have no idea of the condition of the rest of the drivetrain. The car only has 60K on it and the rest of the car is very solid. Engine is the 400 2V. The paint takes a nice shine when buffed, 99% rust free, and no major dents, but will need a new vinyl top if desired. The interior is well above average but by no means perfect. I installed an NOS steering wheel and front grill. I intended on getting it running and enjoying it, but it's costing me storage and I don't have the time to focus on it. I would rather sell it to someone who will save it as opposed to suffering the same fate as the AMC and Magnum. I'm asking $1000, but I am more than willing to entertain offers. The car is located in Metro Phoenix, Arizona. public.fotki.com/montegocj/1975-chrysler-newport/It shines up pretty nice when buffed.....

^ Good stuff, great price! Hmmm ... increased sharknado activity this summer. They're apparently evolving into sharrikanes. (Ship seeking Atlantic hurricanes laden with live sharks) Weird stuff. You might want to consider shipping by jet this time. . Manchester can handle The Antonov 225.

Ha!! Can you imagine the cost of a car space on that thing!! I'll take my chances with bizarre weather and ships. Sharknado was screened here not long ago along with a few other VERY low budget films, all were complete crap!!
