Hi everyone. Due to having limited free time to work on my project I have decided to sell it rather than let it sit around. I have a 71' Fury 3 four door post that I was cloning into a police unit. The car is fairly solid but does have some repairable rust. It is a factory 360, 727 car with A/C. Maroon exterior and black interior. The seats are in almost perfect condition "NO TEARS!" but it does need a carpet and has a few small cracks in the dash pad near the speaker. I have a nice 1970 hood to replace the boring factory flat hood. The 360/727 combo was ditched and I planned to replace it with a very low mileage "42k mile" 1967 440/727 with 915 heads combo from a wrecked new yorker I had previously purchased. I have everything needed to install the 440. Including the A/C brackets, driver side HP manifold, correct 1971 valve covers and dual snorkel air cleaner. The motor has 42,000 original miles on it and runs excellent with no smoke or strange noises. The motor is VERY clean inside!!! There is NO sludge under the valve covers! The car it came from was wrecked in the 70's "rearended" and parked in a garage. The cylinders were filled with oil, carb removed and intake and exhaust sealed up tight. I purchased the car from the original owner 4 years ago with intentions of fixing it but unfortunately the car was deemed irreparable by my body man. So I harvested the complete drivetrain for the Fury. A donor 8-3/4 rear axle from a 67' newport was also installed to replace the factory 8-1/4 unit. The chuck is a 742 casting open unit with what I believe to be 3.23 gears but I have never opened it to check. If you would like more details or information please call Lee @ 401-743-1442. I am located in northern Rhode Island.

- Any luck with the sale, Lee? Wouldn't mind seeing a couple of bigger pics.

I still have it. I will get some pics once the snow is gone. We have had some nasty weather here in the northeast. The drivetrain is in my garage and it has been pickled and sealed up for the winter. If a serious buyer comes along I will fire it up for them so they can hear it run. The ultra low mileage 67' 440/727 drivetrain alone is well worth my asking price of $2500 firm. Thank you for your interest!
