Actually that's a picture of my car how can I go about having it removed from the add. Hopefully the seller is a gentleman and respects your wishes. The is an engine rebuilder online who uses a stolen picture of my '58 Fury and they use my name and a bunch of wrong specs about the engine, they never state that they built the car but they never state that they didn't. I've ask them a couple of times to remove it and they just ignore me.

That is an intresting, and eye opening, chain of events that lead to someone using your picture in their add.
In the end, I'm not sure what if anything you can do about it except ask for it to be removed. Even then, what difference does it make? It's probably more hassle, and aggravation than its worth. The seller will probably take it down anyhow. Hes going to get tired of idiots showing up and being dissapointed and pissed that the $1500 car he is selling is not the one in the picture. I have sold lots of cars on Craigslist and the majority of the people who contact me NEVER read the add, all they do is look at the picture and the price. It might be a laziness factor or perhaps illiteracy..... Either way 60% of the people reading that add think that is the car for sale.

I made this a few years back to reflect on how my typical Craigslist experience has been:

The car is supposedly in MN and the seller (friend of the owner) is in Wisconsin. He texted me today trying to get a cashiers check out of me, I told him I thought you don't deal with banks, sorry, don't need your car any more.

I would buy this car tomorrow if I weren't moving; I'd love to use it as a driver.

I don't know, I wouldn't trust him, I got jerked off for a week with this guy and it cost me $400 more on my 4 Door Royal indirectly because of him.

I just want a 2-door for a daily driver; I think they're neat and it'd guarantee that it never becomes a derby car.

My plans were to swap the nose, tail lights, rear bumper, gas door, ect. with my 4 door '77, if the dash pad is good swap it with one I have here with 2 cracks, and try to keep it complete and then resell it to recover some of my investment but that didn't work out as planned.
