There we go, thanks Steam!!
I think the knock is mostly the exhaust. Thats a pretty loud knock to be internal engine... But guess we'll find out soon enough. lol Atleast shes running under her own power!

OK, it's here and it is not a knock, it's a flapping hole in the muffler and a rough running engine. It has a new carb, cap, rotor, and wires so I think the carb and timing need adjusting, and it may have a fuel delivery problem, either a clogged filter, weak pump,or clogged pick up sock. The car is rust free, the interior is really nice and I believe that the advertised 152K was a guess or assumption and the car actually only has 52K miles, the condition and wear are comparable to my 58,000 mile Magnum. It also has a weak started so i picked up a mini starter on my lunch break. I also have my complete '74 nose minus the bumper, I've located 3 and I'm just waiting on a shipping quote and condition description on one before I purchase. Two of them are in my opinion, too expensive. I'll start a build thread with pics when I get a chance.

Aha I so this is now my blumo! What a nice little earner for Adam lol. I don't care how cheap it was to start with, it's worth every penny what I paid over here and I love it!

I don't know if you feel comfortable disclosing what you paid for the car but while Adam may have made some money on the car it was far from total profit. The car, transportation costs, 74 front end and labor to put it all together plus paint and stencils. Antblues and I have been discussing building a car and when you really sit down and do the calculations the expenses add up quick.

I'm not moaning in the slightest and yes the hours alone if paid for in "real time" would probably cost a fortune.

Any money it may seem that I made goes out the window when you figure the nose cost more than I paid for the car and all of the parts were over 1000 miles away, I shipped the car from coast to coast, any labor time I had in the car I could have either; A-Been at work earning time and a half overtime, or B-Doing side work, it doesn't seem like that much at all now.

Honestly no offence meant Adam. You've done a great job and yes the work put in was worth every penny! Sent from my SM-G900F using proboards
