Different phone number, someone just copied the ad and is trying to make a few bucks flipping it, I just spoke to him and he's making it sound like he's selling the car for the other guy but he's having some work done on it but the original seller told me yesterday that he sold it. Whatever, maybe I'll make him an offer after he tells me what work he has done.

Just Paypaled the "New" owner for this one so now I have to make arrangements to have it shipped, I hope it's a good one. Mark it SOLD!

Done! Congrats, it looks solid I sure hope it is for you. It's a nice base for your Blumo build.

What a great looking car! From the pics I don't see any rust, hopefully it will be a nice and easy build for you. Its looking even more like a Blumo with the hubcaps and whitewalls gone.

Thanks, he put some good used tires on it and he said the hubcaps were mismatched so he left them off and painted the wheels, I like the look, as you said more like a Blumo. Both sellers (the original and this guy) said there is no rust so hopefully there is little to none. Between this and the '74 nose parts and taillights I bought I should be on my way, I'm still waiting on two sources for a '74 bumper but if not I'll make the '77 front bumper work. Supposedly it's being picked up tomorrow and should be here in 7 to 11 days, by then I hope this arctic cold is gone and I can start on it, the Blues Brothers show is playing in Millville NJ at the end of May and I'd like to have this together and proven reliable enough to trust it on a 3 1/2 hour trip down there so I can take my daughter to see them in her Bluesmobile.

Car is on a truck on it's way east. The seller sent a video of it loading and the car sounds like shit. The seller told me it needs a muffler and I'm assuming the engine was cold so it was running rough (typical Mopar) but my friend thinks it sounds like a knock. I can't see an engine knocking this loud and not grenading Attachments:MOV_3661.3gp (278.66 KB)

It does kinda sound like a knock but I hope it just really runs like shit instead. I should wait for it on I-80 a get a pic of it as it passes through Illinois. That's awesome that its already loaded and headed your way!

That's awesome that its already loaded and headed your way! I just don't see a knock coming over so loud on a recording from where the guy with the camera was. I think it's a combination of 7 year old gas (last on he road in '07), sitting all week, engine cold, and a bad muffler. I'll know more when it gets here and of course I'll keep everyone posted on this and my parts.

The seller sent a video of it loading and the car sounds like shit. Yeh, that does sound rough. I hope for ya it's just the muffler. Could the timing being off also be responsible for that sound?

If it's really solid I'd rather deal with an engine than floors and 1/4's. That's the buying sight unseen risk, I know it was a gamble and hopefully it's OK.

Thanks Country, I 'm still working on the front bumpers, the yard I go my l/f fender from threw out the one they had because it was in bad shape before checking with me, it was just a bare face bar anyway. I can't view the video on my work computer either, try opening it with windows media player that's how my home computer works.
