1000 bucks ?? Aiming pretty low . I guess it depends on the area, my '77 Royal Monaco is rust free and it sold in Washington state for $1,000.

For a '74 it is a little cheap, but for a rust free 1974-77 (Gran) Fury or (Royal) Monaco it's not unheard of, he just will most likely need to travel to get it.
