When I first saw it I thought ... that looks like a broken Royal Monaco emblem. The dash pad is the same as the KDX EXPO Monaco. But I'm actually leaning towards LV's suggestion of it being from a Newport.

It seems to me that the KDX cars have the same dash setup as Chrysler cars, as opposed to the shared Plymouth Fury / Dodge Monaco dash. Here's the dash of a '75 Imperial LeBaron: You'll notice that the wood-grain dash piece and gauge positioning are identical, as well as the dash pad type, with the main difference being the logo. The Imperial LeBaron has a more intricate dash pad; note, the additional scroll work below the emblem. The 8-Track player in that Imperial is also interesting, but I'm more interested in the additional text on the AC controls.
