Johnny the Johnster!!! Nice pics, brother. Yeh this one is the bees knees for sure ... Also excellent timing on the Marquee. Was that a fluke or did you wait for that one?

Also love that second shot the best, but all are great! That second one looks like a calendar photo though for sure, nice!

Here is something interesting... The top section, of the photo below, is a shot of the same BluMo that is shown above, with the Batmobile. This car originally came from the Orlando House of Blues. The bottom section of the photo is the car currently used by Universal Studios Florida. What are the bumper numbers for? The Newport, that is also used by USF, does not have a number on the bumper. And, the Monaco currently out in the parking lot of HOB Orlando does not have a number. .

Now I'm seeing a trend. Here is JKNLWUD's car, also originally from HoB Orlando.

What are the bumper numbers for? Well that IS an interesting observation. Just throwin' this out there but could it have anything to do with the numbered cars being Rick Shields creations?

That was my thought as well. But, I know of a couple others that are out there, without numbers.
Of course they could have been removed at some point over the years.

I meant to post this over the weekend, but I got a nasty cold and didn't feel like doing much of anything. Not to mention the sour taste that the USF Blues Brothers left in my mouth (Particularly Jake, for not knowing the lyrics to Soul Man... I mean cmon!) Seems the USF brought back the Gran Fury. The speaker is still the same up top, but the car is no longer a Chrysler (again!). Looked freshly painted. I wanna go back and snap a few pictures, because they had some neat nods to the movie on the dash board - a card from Ray's, cigarettes, no cigarette lighter, and a citation. I was talking with the BB handler about it, and he didn't know anything about the movie/car other than they have 2, and they switch them out periodically. Good thing, too. Because the Chrysler was gold before it got the Bluesmobile skin, and the paint was chipping horribly.
