I'm trying to put the word in the streets about my project and the alternative source of funding I'm trying. igg.me/at/bluesmobile/x/2931022 So it's technically NOT a Kickstarter, but it works almost exactly the same. I figure it was worth a shot and, who knows, I could get some gigs with the car booked in advance this way. Whether or not it will work is debatable, but it's worth a shot.

Hey, that's an interesting idea! > swapping the rear end for a 9 3/4 one, cop-spec 440, 15x8 police > wheels 9 1/4? 15x6.5? Or maybe you're planning on using a 9 3/4 Dana 60? Here's the wheel thread: www.bluesmobiles.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=details&action=display&thread=245The cop monaco wheels were 15x6.5, but Mopar made later 15x7 cop wheels. I don't know of any 15x8 cop wheels. Or are you planning on stock appearing, but wider wheels?

Usually when people speak about mopar cop wheels, they mean these 6 holed ones: For example summit has them from 6" to 10". Quick google with "mopar wheels 15 8" gives this www.classicindustries.com/mopar/parts/mw861.htmlI think the screen accurate wheel looks better.

Dang it, I may have tripped up on the numbers there. I know that the wheels I have are the stock look, but are larger than the standard non-cop Monaco wheels. I wish I could remember the difference between the size of the stock wheels...
Going by what I measured earlier, I must have meant 15x6.5 instead, as I measured the set of wheels that were original to my Brougham, but not ON the car. Those are the ones that I'm using and the wheels, with temporary tires, are on the car and the rear end is waiting to go in.
The rear end mistake is simple; I messed up the fraction.
I need to learn the metric system or try to do LESS from memory...
