no TK 826, he means like these! I know its strange but these are called headlight doors I know some refer to them as headlight bezels, but the proper name for them is head light doors. Attachments:

From what I can see, the parts catalog only uses the term "headlamp doors" only for actual hidden headlight doors, and uses the term "headlamp bezels" for blumo-style non-hidden headlamp bezels. Here's the 75 catalog that maps the pic to the part number (pic in lower left) which matches to this description: This is from 74 (that didn't have the hidden headlight doors available), and just called them bezels: Although maybe not used in the parts catalog, it sounds from the way that Bill and Jenny use it, that "headlight door" is a generally accepted term for the bezel.

The reason headlight bezels are called headlight doors (both are correct terms) is that in the old kerosene headlamps on carriages and early cars you would open the "headlamp door" to light your headlights. See we can all learn something new every day. Adam

See we can all learn something new every day. Adam And now we know! lol! I grew up in a Auto Parts store, and I alway heard them refered to as headlight doors but never understood why. Thank you for the info!

Just installed my new door weatherstripping from Steele Rubber on the car and they fit great.Just a note if you call Steele for 74 monaco weatherstripping they will tell you they only repo the front doors.I bought a complete set for a 1976 and they are exactly the same and work perfect
