As of today the car is completly stripped down and disassembled and waiting for a trip to the media blaster first of next week.I was amazed how solid the floors were under the old carpets.I am planning on leaving the 360 in the car after a set of gaskets and a tune up,it runs great. The plastic lower door panels and interior will all be dyed brown.I sent the seats out to my upholster to be recovered in brown. They will be done smooth with no pleats like a taxi design.I will post pics next week.Need some advice on door star design, I am excited

Bill, Post some pics of it disassembled and of it after its media blasted! We here on the forum love seeing the progress in pictures! I am glad you are happy and excited about the car. I agree it runs great, should run even better after the tune up! You have us all at the edge of our seats! lol
Also if you can take some pics of the seats prior to them being recovered, member Sigmfsk would like some pictures from different angles of them good enough to take to his upholstery guy and say do them like this! Thanks

Nice to hear that you're moving so fast with your work on the car, I'm stuck on the planning phase because I haven't got a place to do the work. Or skills.

I haven't got a place to do the work. Or skills. But you DO have a fantastic selection of kitchen supplies --- Awesome! That's the Spirit of the Blues you're feeling.

I just got the interior back from the trim shop. They did a geat job on the seats and door panels.I know the panels aren,t movie original but I like them any way.Once the body and parts come back from the media blaster I will post more pics.
