Summarized from info here: www.bluesbrotherscentral.com/forum/topic/6584-a-movie-bluesmobile-in-newark-nj/> Owned by Jerry Immersi who runs Cars For Films out of Newark, NJ. www.carsforfilms.net/> Jerry has gone on record as saying that this is the only surviving > Bluesmobile and it was the one used for the beach scene, with > speaker on top! And then many folks did a good job pointing out why it would be unlikely to have been an original movie blumo. Then bamabluesbro put on the finishing touches: ----------- Fellas let me put this to rest. I just had extra time this weekend to read through old threads. This is the 3rd Bluesmobile I built. The first 74 I was able to aquire and hated like hell to let it go. I solld to a guy in New Jersy that had it shipped via DAS up north and he said he had a museum like place he was keeping it. The car was the only one with Black interior and a passenger mirror we ever done. Duels were on it when we got from a black guy here in Huntsville Al and it was PURPLE!~ My father in law helped me build the speaker and we DRILLED HOLES IN THE ROOF for the 2x4 base. NO DOUBT this was one of our babies that I see has been put up as an original, LMAO! My fatherin law is also a welder and built the push bars. Once again-bullsh*t! Good call guys. ----------- www.bluesbrotherscentral.com/forum/topic/6584-a-movie-bluesmobile-in-newark-nj/page__st__20#entry93090
