Left thursday morning at 5am. First stop, fill up in ohio After getting back on the road I noticed my oil pressure gauge slowly decending. I pulled off to find just the clip on the wire had came off the sending unit. Thank god!! lol So got back on the road, and met up with spanks. Hung out with him for a lil over an hour. Had to get back on the road before I got him fired!! lol Filled up again in kentucky Then Tennessee Had to stop at one of the pull offs. Would of been cool if the weather wasnt so crappy! The rain followed me all the way to the end of TN. Filled up again in Georgia

Glad you had a safe trip with no problems.
Awesome stop in GA!
Thanks for the door to door delivery service on the glass.
It was great meeting a fellow Blues Brother in person. Next time lets do it on a weekend! I'm actually surprised I could talk that long without having to answer the phone 10 times, the Blues must have been on my side.

Started messing around with my front end parts. Getting excited about getting the new metal on! Getting rid of the damn rust!! Ive been making friends with one of the nieghbors. Hes a pretty good welder, and gonna help me out with my outer fenders. Gonna teach me how to weld hopefully lol I got the drivers inner fender ready for paint. What a pain in the ass! Took 3 days. first took a torch and a scrapper to the old undercoating. Heated up small sections at a time and scraped it all off. Then took the wire wheels to it. Then primered it The top side was a lot easier. Got it all cleaned and primered in a day. Dont have a pic of it all done.. Next will be the passenger side, then the core support. People around here seem to like the car! Havnt got any heat from the cops yet!! lol Im supprised cause I still have the MI historical plate on. But a buddy was telling me as long as I still have a MI drivers license I should be good. Almost looks like BB2000 movie when the boys were at the witches house haha zac

...gotta get the decals for it. Or not. I put copies of some pics we had on BBC here: bluesmobiles.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=gotopost&board=police&thread=251&post=4046It looks like for 74 that you could have one of two different types of 440 decals on the lid - or no decal. Maybe someone swapped the lid on the buffalo collection and isn't factory. I don't know. But I think no-decal on the lid was factory, based on Marin County not having one. It looks like a wide-angle dual snorkel may have always had a sticker on the front between the snorkels. The roadrunner in that thread doesn't have one, but it looks like its been repainted (based on the OSAC valve). Keep us posted with what you end up selecting, nice work, arthur

Im gonna stay true to my car my man, and go with the 360 decal. No its not blumo correct, but it doesnt have a big block, nor do I see one going in anytime soon. I love big block mopars! However I like the attitude of the small blocks a lil more. Less wieght better gas milage less hassle/maintenance run forever if taken care of Ive already got most of the small block goodies to go on it, plus the cars not gonna be a hot rod. Just want a nice dependable cruiser, with a little go. Its already an awesome cruiser, but really lacking the go part haha. But thats what the newports for www.classicindustries.com/mopar/parts/md930.htmlIdk though... IMHO the air cleaners without a decal look naked. they need something there lol. Im glad you like it arthur! Slowly but steady making headway! lol -zac Attachments:

Im gonna stay true to my car my man, and go with the 360 decal. That's cool. I've always enjoyed laughing about you and 177ellwood gently ribbing each other about the other's engine size. The first Monaco (and blumo) I ever rode in was your 360, and the first Monaco (and blumo) I ever drove was your 360. Long live the 360 love!

Lookin' good, Zac - better gas mileage Can't argue with that, prices are steadily going up again around here (Well, all of North America I guess). We're over $1.30 a litre, soon to be $1.40 and they say we might hit $1.50 a litre here this summer. If my estimations are correct I believe we multiply that by 3.76 to get the price per gallon which puts $1.50 a litre at $5.64 per gallon. Craziness.
