Yep, I remember the thread with the grille swap. I think there was some problems at first gettin' 'er lined up? Last time I saw a pic of your Charger, Scat, it didn't look THAT good. That's gonna be a beauty General. Are those the correct Vector wheels? Two great cars!!

Yep, I remember the thread with the grille swap. I think there was some problems at first gettin' 'er lined up? Ahhh, so it's a 74 with a 75 upper grille. Is a 75 grille something Duke specific? Or is the 75 grille just a placeholder until a 74 grille comes along? your friend in grille swaps, both 75 to 74, and 74 to 75, arthur

The Monaco is a 74. I swapped the grille with Beefmalone. The Dukes car was a 75. I want to swap the bumper also if I can find one. Beef has one but I would need to take mine off and bring it to MS. the Charger is staying the way it is. Paint is original as is the drive train and interior. The Vectors are correct. Go find the Dukes episode with Cale Yarborough. He is driving a white 69 like mine.

I'd say you must be becoming a legend with the Dukes fans. Very unique rides. I think you mentioned you also have a Satellite for your Daisy, right? I'm not 100% sure about that. Are you searching for any others for your fleet? Here's the Cale car. Season 2 Episode 7 ...

well the tranny is shot. Glad I didn't drive up to VA last week for the Hazzard Homecoming. Still have the issues with the new cluster I just swapped out. No money for a trans rebuild at the moment. Guess it will stay parked for a while.

SCATPACK... (I think that you remember me from when I worked for the Mopar parts guy out in Oregon, IL?) Would you want to swap bumpers? My car is a '75 with a '74 grille. No one has ever noticed that I still have the 75 bumper and lower grille though. I removed the bumper guards to put the push bar on so that I wouldn't have to drill any additional holes in an otherwise decent bumper. I'm not THAT much of a "movie-correct" perfectionist and I had the bar fabricated to fit the bumper guard hole spacing and didn't try to make it 1,000% correct to the movie. I'd be glad to send you my bumper, lower grille, and the parking lights in exhange for the same thing from yours? Maybe even the push bar too, since it fits so nice? I'm back in Virginia now, so maybe we can find someone making the trip and they can carry it up & back for me& you?

I replaced the wiring to the ECU/coil/dist/ballast resistor. I got it to fire up but when you let go of the key it dies. It will stay running if you hold the key in the crank position. I double checked the wiring and it is wired per the directions. Something is wired wrong or something is bad. I'm sure someone has had this problem before. thanks

I'd say it's a dead ignition switch. Do you have power there when it's "on". Or then it's the wire that comes from ignition via ballast resistor to the coil.

I was gonna check more wring today, lot of old brittle wiring... It is raining so hopefully it quits. I'll check the BR and then the wiring. I may just run a new wire from the coil to the BR.
