This is the S&D tape I have for offer... Completely created from scratch: The sound files were cleaned up and are directly transferred to the tape from mp3's (direct PC to 8-track transfer). From everything I know TBoS&D 8-track never came in this configuration. (Black label on a black tape with the album art). They most often came on a tape that was not black, and the only known black label example (which is on a pink colored tape) does not have the album art on the tape itself. Just the song listings. I can do both blank and full music versions. The music itself is free, but it does take a least a couple hours to space the songs correctly on each tape and usually takes a couple/few tries to make sure they all transfer on to the 30 year old taped without any distortion. I also loose several 8-track tapes in the process due to age, deterioration, and breakage. Because of these aspects the music filled tapes run about double the cost of the blank version. .

might be interested too. Don't leave them on your dash all the time, only for shows. One of mine melted, and warped.

The bad thing was it happened in MI, before I moved down to the FL heat.. Idk how/when it happened. I left it on the dash for months. When cleaning the interior one day, I noticed the tape all messed up lol. Luckily I still have a spare on the shelf (for actual playing use)

I'll have to dig for the photos, but when I first put my car together it had a cassette player in it (it was 2003, ok? ) I cut off part of an 8 track tape and put it over an old cassette tape that I inserted (not all the way) into the cassette player. Once I got it all to fit I JB welded it all together. I used PowerPoint to make up a phony "Best of Sam & Dave" label. The average person never knew that it was a cassette player. When I upgraded to satellite radio, I cut the whole faceplate off of the old cassette player and glued it all together and put a strong magnet on the top lip. I also placed a small piece of sheetmetal above the radio for the old radio/magnet to grab a hold of. It worked GREAT! It stuck out from the dash a little further than the stock radio, but who cares? The label was easier to read, and I didn't want to cut up the center of the dash to put the 8 track player where it was in the movie.

I want to do something similar...my car is a shitbox overall, but the dash is about the only decent part of the interior, and I don't want to hack it up, lol.
