So I was driving around with a few friends from work and we ended up in Burbank, driving down Victory Blvd, just West of the 5 Fwy. As we're cruising, I notice a black and white Monaco parked on a side street. of course, I yell and the driver reluctantly turns around so I can take a quick look. It was on Orchard, just south of Victory. My friends weren't nearly as enthused and barely allowed me to get my one picture, let alone leave a note about the site or anything to that extent. Anyway it was a 74, painted black and white, and looked very clean. no decals or distressed paint as of yet. The license plate was "BLSMBLE" and here is a picture: Does this belong to anyone on the forum? If so, if there was a black BMW creeping around your block for a few minutes yesterday around 5, that was me and my friends, haha.

I wonder if it is the same as the one below. *They both have the large front fender reflectors. This photo was taken in Benicia, CA late April 2011. I have it listed as an "Unknown". Attachments:

Looks like a Brougham. In addition to the front fender reflectors, the trim pieces above the taillights have that extra little bit at the upper corners where they would have met the Brougham-style fuel door.

It's definitely possible that it's the same car. Kind of far from Benicia though...

Good one, 2FAB. It looks like we haven't copied that info here from BBC. I added this post to the "fuel door / taillight" thread (now renamed fuel door / taillight / taillight trim) bluesmobiles.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=gotopost&board=details&thread=670&post=4893

... the Brougham-style fuel door. Which is nicely missing the middle "D" - As for the paint, I thought there was a law against anyone in the State of California driving a B&W car? Or more specifically a B&W paint job which resembles a cop car. ?

There is, but I believe there's a clause somewhere that says it doesn't apply to cars older than 1978, not 100% sure, but that's what the guys over at copcar.com said somewhere...

A buddy of mine in LA shot me a text yesterday when he and his wife were driving through Burbank and they came across this... clearly the same car parked in front of the same house, but now with markings... looks pretty decent I'd say! Did a site search to find this thread to see if we ever learned more about it... apparently not?

^ Cool stuff, Bis. That must be a busy road as someone else also spotted it and posted it to the Star Cars facebook page ... - www.facebook.com/StarCarsCrave/timelineI think it very well could be the one from Benicia that TK posted. It seems to have the same ding on the bumper ... ? If it is the same car then that's a drag to spend the money at the body shop only to incur that front end passenger side damage.

That has to be it. When looking at the large version of these photos, I see not just the ding on the bumper, but it has the same curl on the bottom section of the bumper insert, the same chip in the horizontal plastic bar just above the curl, the front whitewall tire with the same counterweight, and even a rip in the corner of the drivers seat.

Looks like a bit of damage to the right front fender.
