Yeah....I'd like to hear more about that, too. Not that I'll ever have a speaker on mine, but that's a weird 'infringement' clause. Rob

Guys - I'm very flattered by the comments I've received on my car. Thank you for that. To address the two topics I mentioned - you can do anything you want to your car of course - it is America - however, the powers that be called House Of Blues is owned by Live Nation. Your car as well as tributes are not allowed on their property or Live Nation owned venues without an endorsement. The speaker on the roof is a copyright "image" owned by Universal. Add it, you stand no chance ever to rent your car to a Live Nation event. Your endorsement has to come from Blues Brothers Applied Ventures - and they only endorsed the damn Fury cars you see at Universal Studios which is a shame. Again, only if you plan on doing anything with a House Of Blues does my comments matter. I've been dealing with this for quite a while. If you have questions I will be glad to answer what knowledge I gathered offline.

Hi TB1: I think I follow you that House of Blues (owned by livenation) requires bluesmobiles associated with any performances at their place to be approved by "Blues Brothers Approved Ventures, LLC" (owned by Judy and Dan). I'm confused by: Your endorsement has to come from Blues Brothers Applied Ventures - and they only endorsed the damn Fury cars you see at Universal Studios which is a shame. But I think you're relaying that HOB only allows bluesmobiles approved by BBAC (and therefore can't have a speaker) and that the cars at Universal have nothing to do with HOB or BBAC, and Universal can have a speaker on top (since they own the image copyright for it). But Universal couldn't actually use the words "Blues Brothers", "Jake Blues", or "Elwood Blues" (without permission from BBAC), as > The Blues Brothers™, Jake Blues™, and Elwood Blues™ are registered > trademarks owned by Applied Action Research Corp. and Judith Belushi > and are used by permission under license from Blues Brothers Approved Ventures LLC. bluesbrothersofficialsite.com/p-10045-blues-brothers-headquarters.htmlI read: > The newly formed Blues Brothers Approved Ventures LLC has teamed > with Panacea Entertainment to manage the Blues Brothers property, > which Panacea founder and chairman Eric Gardner will oversee. www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/blues-brothers-team-up-panacea-entertainment-309231and > The fact is: the acts at Universal (Orlando and Hollywood) pay a > hefty 5-figure sum annually to Panacea for the use of the trademarked name "Blues Brothers". www.bluesbrotherscentral.com/forum/topic/10275-anyone-else-getting-harassed-told-to-stop-venues-called/page-4#entry123799all very interesting and confusing. I'm glad I'm just building a blumo to drive around in.

Stevie Ray was the bomb....poor ol' Jimmy just lives in his shadow, IMHO. But, it's still a sweet gig! Rob

Clearly not up on your Texas blues...that could start a whole topic thread all together. Nah...I'm a delta blues man, myself, preferring that to other styles. Don't get me wrong, as I'm not knocking Jimmy's accomplishments; I'm sure he's a great musician in his own right. IMHO, he just doesn't seem as much of a virtuoso with the Fender, like his lil' brother was. Rob

It's tomorrow and Sunday. They have mine on display through the weekend. You'd end up parking in a general parking - kinda would be silly to have two of them there.
