Last weekend went to a convention/autograph show with both Bluesmobiles (along with Jake's Mad Max Interceptor tribute car) Lots of cool pics there, Bis!! Bat meets Blues. Even the Penguin was there. The Gotham Penguin. Gotta have a Calumet City Penguin there next time, maybe they could scrap. . I looked at all 47 pics but didn't see the Mad Max car. So who owns it? When you say "Jake's" do you mean Stein529 from Nashua, NH ?

Sorry, didn't realize we didn't get any Interceptor shots in there! Jake is "my" Jake of course, aka Shotgun Blues... this is his baby: - Bis

So last weekend was my company picnic, a very large event. Buster & I drove down in the Dodge, and when we came back to the car to go home there was a business card tucked into the driver's door window... from the town's chief of police, asking me to let him know if I ever "couldn't sell this"! Good to have fans in positions of authority LOL....

Some how I missed that post now that I'm on here so infrequently, dayum! I don't even remember what she was at the shop for that day, it's on my calendar that I brought her there but no receipts from the day so must've been one of those niggling little things my mechanic fixed at no cost. (LOVE having a guy like that!)

BTW, to prove I'm an absolute idiot, the next plan is to drive the Monaco from Boston to the Delta in April, for Clarksdale's Juke Joint Festival. 40-year-old car, close to 3,000 miles round trip.... what could possibly go wrong?!! First though we need the northeast to get dug out so I can get her back out on the roads and start prepping, at this rate that might not be until May....

I've done it numerous times; it's always a memorable experience and the best way to get to know a car. I look forward to my next trip.
