Thanks guys! It did come out pretty good so far. Highly recommend the stuff.
I pulled the trans last night to finish up the belly with the rust bullet. My undercoating showed up. Should be spraying it on this weekend, if the gun shows up in time.

Kinda dissapointed with eastwoods paint. Spent good $$ on it, and it looks the same as the cheap local bought aluminum paint on the heat shields. This stuff ... ? I think the reason for the extra $$ is the zinc. Stuff got zinc, so I guess it'll never rust with a zinc coating?? Or at least the zinc coating works as a rust inhibitor or something like that maybe.

Thats the stuff steam. Can art is a little diff, but same product. Damn zinc! lol. Its not a very "rugged" paint though. Seems to scratch easily.

Are you supposed to topcoat it, sorta like a zinc primer?

Are you supposed to topcoat it, sorta like a zinc primer? Rob According to the can it's a single stage paint. No need for any primer, or clear coat. However now that you mention it, it does remind me alot of the weld through primer I was using with a lot of zinc. Again though that stuff isn't real durable. Took the 9.25 over to a friend's who is helping !e rebuild it. Got it torn down, and most the parts cleaned and painted. Also took it to work to weld the ISO clamp eliminator pucks in. It's coming out pretty good! My buddy talked me into a set of 3.55s he has for it. The car should have quite a bit more pep then before, with these, and the big block going in!

Great to see! Quick question, where did you source your 9.25 rear end? That's on my to do list (albeit pretty far down the list at the moment) but it's still in the back of my mind. Did you get one from another C-body or find one off an old truck and have the modifications done?

I got the 9.25 from a somewhat local member on here, from FL a couple years back. He hasn't been on here since then I don't believe. He had another 9.25 laying around, but I believe he ended up scrapping all of his parts, cause no one was buying, and it was taking up too much space. I can't remeber his handle...
This one came out of a '75 fury new york state police car. The internals (minus the axles) are all from a mid '90s ram. The suregrip I got from arthur was no good.
Luckily the center chunk just barely fits into the old 9.25. The newer ram units have a tone ring on the chunk. Takes a little persuading, but it will walk in, and just clear.

I love the stance of the car!!! What kind of leaf springs did you use?

Their the original springs. I disassemble, cleaned, and painted them. Then rebuilt with new hardware.
The car has always had quite a stance. Now with the new bushings and what not its REALLY high. I'm hoping after the doors and what not are on, it'll go back down a bit lol
