I did the same thing, Zac; I flipped the block over, shook it a little, and the rail bolt fell back to the 'top'...never had to break the gaskets.

Oh man! I agree the what everyone else is saying. Find the bolt first then figure out what gaskets you need. I can tell you that if I were you I would spend a lot of time with a magnet before I would take anything apart.

Now everything has gotta come back apart to find it... UN FUCKING BELIEVEABLE!! Summit has gotta be loving me right now! Another $46 in gaskets just ordered. They got almost $200 from me in the last 2 days!!!!! Don't jump the gun, try a long flexy magnet first. And if you are going to pull anything apart more than likely it would just be the timing cover and/or oil pan. I would find the bolt first and then get the fel pro gaskets that you need at Advance Auto, much cheaper than Summit and you can buy only what you need, not a whole set. Im hoping its in the oil pan. I already pulled the timing cover.. Don't see it. And ofcoarse can't see too much into the oil pan from there. I only ordered the timing cover gasket, oil pan gasket, and another valley pan kit as they were pretty cheap, ajd I already used all the sealent in the kit on the motor. The local parts stores have been a tiny bit more $$ then summit. Also I always gotta wait either way for the parts too be ordered. Summit has always gotten my stuff to me very quickly. I'll give them the $$. I like em. The other valley pan and parts I ordered last night came in today at 3pm. I'll let you guys know what happens.

I tried to flip the motor, but this cheap stand is a pain in the ass. Plus like I said the timing cover is already off. Just a few more bolts to the pan. New gaskets already on the way. Never thought an intake would give me so much trouble!! Ill be taping all holes shut next go around!!

Looks good man! With as clean as you got that block the paint should go on nice. Does the Mopar paint require or recommend a primer?

Looks good man! With as clean as you got that block the paint should go on nice. Does the Mopar paint require or recommend a primer? Thanks!! Idk, There were a couple water drop sized spots on the timing cover, where the paint didnt wanna stick. I sprayed it down with some engine degreaser before hand.. Looks like I really gotta make sure its clean! Luckily though, those couple spots are hidden behind the pump. Nothing said about primer on the paint cans. Only things mentioned are too make sure the engine is clean, don't paint a hot engine, spray, and let dry.. lol I probably should primer it just for better adhesion. But I think I'll be alright. I'm gonna put MANY coats on. Or 3 1/2 cans worth, and save the half can for any scratches, or what not when installed in the car.

Looks like I really gotta make sure its clean! Luckily though, those couple spots are hidden behind the pump. Get some lacquer thinner and wipe / spray it down with that before paint. Engine degreaser will leave some residue, while it looks clean there may be some oils left behind that will cause "fish eyes".
