Not a diecast, this is a rather major conversion job in styrene plastic, done by a member of a model building forum. Believe it or not, it started out as a '69 Chevy Impala 2dr hardtop. Impressive skills! -AZB

Impressive indeed. How does someone look at the body of a 2-door Chevy hardtop and think, yeah I could make a 4-door Dodge sedan outta that ... Can't be too many 1/25 Bluesmobiles out there.

How did I miss this? If a company ever produced a 1/25 kit of a '74 Monaco,I believe they'd make a killing!

I recently noticed another one that became a Blumo. - cs.scaleautomag.com/SCACS/forums/p/105676/987808.aspx- The reference to Pattos Place is a site you're probably familiar with, AZ. Lots of neat stuff including Blumo decals for 1:10, 1:12, 1:18, 1:24, 1:32, 1:43 and 1:64. $8 bucks a set. www.pattosplace.com/From the menu find the decals by alphabet, click on "B" and scroll down a bit.

Steam, I think that other one is a 1:25 scale, because they state that it is on a goon car chassis. That means the 1:25 AMT Joker/Goon car/Gotham City police car kit, which was a B body Monaco or Fury. That would explain why the resin C body looks a bit out of proportion, like it's on the shorter B body chassis. Neat slot car site, I've never heard of it before this.

I think that other one is a 1:25 scale, because they state that it is on a goon car chassis. Right, you are. I think when I read that "Goon" bit I thought it might have been modelling slang or something, lol. But yeah, that chassis then would be from this 1:25 model I didn't know about, The Goon Car I noticed a bunch of them as Rosco cars. Amazon has these models for $17.95 www.amazon.com/Batman-Joker-Goon-Model-scale/dp/B0006GDU9Q
