- Dan is going to England! 06/05/2017 ... is that May 6th or June 5th ? I honestly don't know, different countries have different interpretations do they not? Why not just write the friggin' month, Jesus H. "06/05" is a Dutch film and it depicts May 6th. Another search result showed me that an article from the US Department of State has 06/05 as June 5th, drives me nuts sometimes lol. What is the damn rule for that date? In the US the first number is always the month, is that correct? Enchanted Learning website says, "Note that in some countries, the month and day are reversed in all of these formats." Well isn't that special ... I'm suppressing a barrage of vulgarity right now ...
GBFANS website has it listed as June 5th so there ya go

- Not specifically a Crystal Head story but the main booze in a Caesar (or Bloody Caesar) is vodka. The Caesar was invented in Canada in 1969 and Dan will be celebrating the 50th anniversary on May 16th.
Mott’s Clamato Caesar is asking to hear your ‘Caesar story’ for the chance to win a trip for you and a guest to meet up with Dan Aykroyd in Toronto to celebrate National Caesar Day.
The Caesars with Dan Grand Prize Package includes:
Trip for two to Toronto Round-trip airfare for winner and guest Transportation to and from the airport in Toronto 3 nights hotel accommodation Ride along with Dan Aykroyd on a vintage fire truck to an exclusive National Caesar Day party as his special guest! $500 CDN spending money
Some other prizes do include Crystal Head stuff like a flask and a cocktail shaker etc., but for sure it would be a hoot to ride with Dan in this firetruck. Contest is open to Hosers only, sorry .
Danny is returning to eastern Massachusetts with his vodkas (hadn't heard of the new one!) next month... I'll be there!

Me neither, there's no mention of it at the Crystal Head website that I could see. Maybe it's there somewhere, I clicked on 'news' and didn't see anything about it. It's the same vodka, the bottle is a limited edition and it's designed to look like bone as the name 'Bone Head Vodka' implies, lol. That's a Captain Obvious observation there on my part.
I didn't get to just hang and chat with Dan like I did last time when he signed the Bluesmobiles, run through the line fairly quickly this time (chatted VERY briefly about harmonicas and Clarksdale MS), but DID get a great photo.
